My name is Shelby and I'm raising money for my dog Max. Max is a super sweet one-year-old Presa Canario mix who unfortunately has bilateral cruciate tears in both of his hind legs. For both legs to be fixed, the vet said it would be $10,000, and having a low income and reduced hours at work is making the surgery look impossible to achieve. While others have told me to euthanize Max or give him up, I cannot imagine a life without him. Having him by my side has helped me through a hard time in my life, and I will do all I can to keep him with me. If I could raise at least enough money to fix one leg, his life would improve drastically. If you have any extra money to give, every dollar will be appreciated and used towards my baby boy Max.
