Help Max the Collie

Max the Collie was viciously attacked by another dog while out on his walk with my Father in Law in Livingston last night, as a result of the attack Max has spent the night in the vets and currently is undergoing pre op assessments to remove his leg due to the severity of his injuries. He has broken & shattered bones in his Torso, Leg and ankle and deep bite wounds to his leg. His leg will be removed today during his op and he will have a long road to recovery and a long road ahead of therapy to assist him walking and getting around  on 3 legs.  Any help given would be gratefully received during this whole lockdown and once treatment is paid for any remaining money will be donated to Edinburgh PDSA..... We really appreciate any support given to help cover vet bills and recovery treatment for Max.  The family were told it could cost around £1500 Thank you. As it’s stands right now there’s £300 due to first vet and £700 due to PDSA that’s just for the past 24 hours
