My name is Max Debicki. I’m 13 years old (almost 14), and I’ve been given the honour of a lifetime.
I have been selected to represent Team England at the WBC Amazing Muay Thai Festival in Bangkok, Thailand (June 25–29).
Even writing those words feels unreal.
For the past two years, Muay Thai has been my life. I train every single week at Team UMA in Crewe, giving everything I have — before school, after school, and on weekends — pushing myself while balancing homework, exams, and being a normal kid. There have been early mornings, sore muscles, tough losses, and moments where quitting would’ve been easier… but I never stopped believing.
This opportunity isn’t luck.
It’s the result of years of discipline, sacrifice, and passion for a sport I truly love.
My journey so far:
• 3x Champion – Amateur Rules Muay Thai International Welsh Cup (2024 & 2025)
•silver medal- Sandee (2025)
• Siam Champion (2025)
• Gold Medal – GB Team Champion Competition (2025)
Now, I have the chance to step onto the world stage, wearing England’s colours under the WBC banner — something I once only dreamed about. At my age, this means everything to me.
But there’s a hard part.
This trip is completely self-funded, and the costs are high:
• Flights to Thailand
• Accommodation during the event
• Registration and fight fees
• kit and equipment
• Food and transport in Bangkok
My family and I are doing everything we can to make this happen, but we can’t do it alone. Any support — no matter how small — truly makes a difference. Every donation brings me one step closer to stepping into that ring and representing England with pride.
I promise to share my journey with you — updates, photos, and videos — so you can be part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience with me.
Thank you for believing in me.
Thank you for supporting a young athlete chasing his dream.
Max Debicki
