Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support. Max’s mom is currently in Brazil, and her health has declined rapidly over the past few weeks. When we visited her in April, she began experiencing health issues with stomach pain, but we never imagined how quickly things would progress or what would be the cause.

Since then, she has been diagnosed with terminal intestinal cancer, which has now spread to her liver. In addition, she is suffering from heart, kidney, and liver failure. Everything has happened so fast, and it’s been devastating for our family.

She now requires 24/7 care, and we are doing everything we can to support her from afar. Unfortunately, she does not have health insurance or any financial support in Brazil. We are personally covering all of her needs: medical care, food, housing, and 24/7 assistance while also trying to keep up with our responsibilities here.

Max travels back and forth as often as he can, but we both need to work here in order to afford the growing costs. The emotional and financial toll has been immense.

On top of all this, we are now planning and preparing financially for funeral expenses, which adds even more urgency and strain to an already heartbreaking situation.

-24-hour caregiving and medical support

-Food, rent, and utilities

-Medication and essential supplies

-Travel expenses for Max to be with his mother

-Funeral service and end-of-life arrangements

We are doing all we can, but we simply can’t do it alone. Any amount you can donate will truly help us provide Max’s mom with dignity, comfort, and care during her final days, and help us prepare for the difficult road ahead.
