Hello everyone! My name is Meghan and the other day I was running errands when I noticed the sweetest sign at a cafe next door.. “If You Are Hungry and Don’t Have Money We Will Feed You. Just Let Us Know. -Mitra’s Cafe”

I have never felt so compelled to walk into a building and give them my business. Upon talking to the owner I found out that he has not only been serving his community, but the hungry free of charge for the last 15 years!! Not only this but he told me the next day, Sunday August 31st, 2025 was his last day before getting kicked out of his building so another business could expand.. and he couldn’t afford to move into a new one..

This didn’t sit right with me so I made a tiktok, and the rest is history. Max not only touched my heart that day but over 1 million other people who wanted to do whatever they could to help! So I went back on his last day and asked him what he wanted his future to look like. He told me making food for people is his passion and his dream would be to open another restaurant if he could afford it..

This is where we, as a community come in. Max has spent his life not only keeping people fed, but clearly changing the lives of every person he comes across. He is so selfless and it’s time for all of his good karma to come back around. Whether you can donate a few dollars, or just simply share his story, you WILL be making a huge difference in someone’s life.
