For 41 years, Max and Donna have built a beautiful life together in West Valley City, raising their miracle daughter, Lorinda, who was born at just 24 weeks. Despite her challenges: being Autistic, non-verbal, and a left-leg amputee, Lorinda is their pride and joy. Donna left her 20-year teaching career to care for her full-time, and Max has always called his wife and daughter his greatest gift.

Max dedicated 30 years as a Respiratory Therapist and Clinical Educator, caring for thousands of patients and mentoring others. His whimsical art has touched countless lives in schools, churches, and the community.

Twelve years ago, Max had to leave his career due to health issues. Recently, he was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a serious blood disorder that will likely progress to Acute Leukemia. While not curable, MDS can be treated with ongoing chemotherapy-like medication, frequent hospital visits, and other costly treatments.

Living on a modest income while caring for Lorinda, the family now faces mounting medical expenses. Max’s biggest worry is leaving behind overwhelming bills for Donna. Your support will help cover treatment costs, transportation to the hospital, and give Max the chance to focus on his health and time with his family.
