Max is 9 years old, and we have had him since he was only 6 months old. He is not just a dog — he is family. He has grown up with my two children and has been by our side through so many important moments in our lives. He is loving, loyal, playful, and still full of life and happiness.
Recently, our world was turned upside down when Max was diagnosed with lymphoma. This news has been incredibly difficult for us, especially for my two children who adore him. We are determined to do everything we can to give Max the best chance at a happy, healthy life.
Despite everything, Max still eats, drinks, wags his tail, and enjoys being with us every day. We are not ready to give up on him. Max’s journey ahead is challenging. He needs more testing, surgery, chest X-rays, and possibly oncology treatment to fight this disease. On top of that, he has started experiencing concerning neurological symptoms that require immediate medical attention. The costs for these procedures and treatments are overwhelming, but we are committed to giving Max every opportunity to recover and stay with our family.
