My name is Max and I’m 9 years old. I’ve been a part of my family since I was a puppy, and I’ve always loved playing in the yard, going for walks, and cuddling up with my favorite people. Last month, my family noticed a lump on the left side of my neck, and they took me to the vet right away. The doctors said I needed surgery, so two weeks ago I went in for the operation. My family was so worried, but they hoped for the best.

After the surgery, the doctors did a biopsy, and last week we received the results—sadly, they found out that it is cancer (Adenocarcinoma). This news has been very hard for my family, but they are doing everything they can to help me. Now, I need treatments and medications as soon as possible, and they’re very expensive. My family wants to give me the best chance to recover and spend more happy years together.
