Meet Max - My Beloved Orange Cat
Max has been my companion through long workdays, late nights, and every quiet moment in between. He’s the kind of cat who greets you at the door, curls up beside you when you’re not feeling well, and somehow always knows when you need comfort.
His Health Has Taken a Turn
When I first adopted him, the shelter notified me that he was successfully treated for a respiratory infection. Over the course of years, we've attempted to treat with antibiotics, but his symptoms would somehow always return. A few months ago, I noticed Max struggling to breathe comfortably, which was new for him. After multiple vet visits, the doctor suspects possible nasal polyps that are making it hard for him to breathe, eat, and sleep peacefully. The vet recommended a CT head scan to confirm the diagnosis and plan treatment — possibly surgery afterward.
The Challenge
Unfortunately, every vet specialist I’ve contacted has quoted at least $3,000 just for the CT scan. As a pharmacy resident, I’m currently living paycheck to paycheck while covering my own expenses and student loans. I’ve been saving as much as I can, but it’s been difficult to reach that amount quickly enough while Max’s condition worsens.
How You Can Help
Your donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward Max’s medical expenses:
- CT Head Scan: $3,000+
- Possible Surgical Costs (depending on results)
- Medications and follow-up care
Even sharing this campaign means so much. Every bit of support brings Max one step closer to breathing freely again and living the happy, healthy life he deserves.
Thank you for reading, donating, or sharing Max’s story.
With gratitude,
