Help Max The Dog Breathe
Donation protected
UPDATE: After a successful surgery, Max began his recovery, but unfortunately developed aspirated pneumonia shortly after. He had to be rushed to the emergency veterinary hospital where he spent the next 48 hours in the ICU. He's home now, and stable, but has a long road to recovery. The costs have now doubled since the complications. Thank you for helping in whatever way you can!
Hi Everyone,
I am creating this fundraiser for two special Max’s in my life: Max The Dog & Max The Human. They’re quite the team and need our help. Max The Human rescued Max The Dog, a handsome Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever, several years ago and just recently discovered that his fluffy pal suffers from Laryngeal Paralysis, which means the nerves that control the muscles to his airway have rapidly weakened, inhibiting his ability to breathe. However, after a specialized surgery (Laryngeal Tie-Back) his airway can permanently stay open and give both Max’s many more adventures together. The $5k will go directly towards Max The Dog’s very expensive operation.
Anything helps, and if you have a moment, please share amongst your networks. We can do this!
