A Story About Max:
The year was 2017. 3 naive dreamers decided they were going to do whatever it took to scale the work of transformation. They left their hometowns bright eyed and full hearted and arrived in San Francisco To change the wooorrrllddd. But what you don't know is.... there was a 4th…
His name was Max Clark. He believed in the vision of atlas and packed his bags for SF as Atlas’s FIRST volunteer. In the 9 months it took launch SF1, he was everywhere and anywhere he could be to fill in the gaps while couch surfing, unpaid, and delivering groceries on the side.
If Atlas is Frodo - Max was Samwise
If Atlas is Harry Potter - Max was Ron Weasley
If Atlas is Ang - Max was Katara
It Atlas is Oprah - Max was Gayle
Whether it was coaching, service team, setting up, tearing down, random 3 hour drives to replace a broken speaker in a training - Max was always there and he started the culture of service at Atlas. He was THE Atlas Humble Servant for the first couple years.
As he's given - it's time for him to receive. Max currently resides in Asheville, NC. The recent hurricane has devastated the city and it’s basically underwater with no roads, no electricity, no gas, no ability to get in or out of the city.
Max and his partner are connected to the creative community of Asheville and as the humble servants they are - they are already strategically planning how to support their community.
the request is to dig deep. Max and Jess are very very deserving folks. If you're thinking $20 - the ask is $100 - and so on!
Thank you so much! This will make his YEAR!
