Max’s Vision is Back – We still need your help
Great news—Max has regained his vision! Today’s visit went perfectly, and his recovery is nothing short of miraculous
However, we still need your help to cover the remaining costs of his treatment. Any contribution will help us settle the final invoice
Thank you for being part of his journey!

Hi, my name is Kate and I am fundraising

for Max’s recovery
Max, my beloved dog adopted from Poland, went through a sudden and severe health crisis that was extremely stressful for him. When he woke up and suddenly couldn’t see, he was bumping into walls and doors, scared and completely disoriented. I rushed him to the vet, where he was diagnosed with dangerously high blood pressure.
Max spent three days in a specialist clinic undergoing various tests, including an MRI, spinal fluid analysis, and blood tests, to rule out toxins and thyroid problems. He also underwent a urine test to ensure his kidneys were functioning properly. Despite all these tests, the vets couldn’t identify the exact cause of his sudden condition. The only thing that was detected was elevated cholesterol, and Max now needs a low-calorie diet to lower it.
After these tests, Max was referred to an ophthalmology clinic for a specialized ERG (electroretinography) test. This test measures the electrical response of the retina to light by placing an electrode on the cornea after numbing it with eye drops. Unfortunately, this test also revealed nothing – Max’s eyes are healthy, and we still don’t know what caused the high blood pressure and sudden blindness.
Thankfully, Max is miraculously regaining his vision, and each day he sees better! However, his journey to full recovery is far from over. Max requires regular vet visits to monitor his blood pressure and overall health. Each visit costs at least £150 and is crucial to ensure he receives the care he needs.
So far, Max’s treatment has cost over £7,500, of which my insurance will only cover £4,000, leaving me with a significant financial gap. While I wish I could handle this alone, unfortunately, I need to reach out to you for help.
I have always helped animals in need, doing everything I could to support them in their struggles. Now, I find myself in a difficult situation and need help for Max.
Max has brought so much joy and love into my life. I am determined to provide him with the care he needs and to ensure the rest of his life is full of health and happiness. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference and help cover the costs of his ongoing treatment and check-ups.
Thank you for any support you can offer and for being a part of Max’s challenging but hopeful road to recovery! ❤️
