My name is Amasu, and I’m raising funds in loving memory of my twin sister, Mawusi.

On March 18, 2025, Mawusi was involved in a tragic car accident. Despite fighting with everything she had, she passed away on March 20, 2025. Her sudden loss has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Mawusi was the devoted life partner of Seitu for 30 beautiful years. She was the proud and loving mother of five children and the adoring grandmother of four. But her role in our lives extended far beyond titles—she was the glue that held our family together.

She was selfless, giving, and deeply compassionate. Mawusi had an incredible ability to make people feel seen, heard, and loved. Her phone was never off—day or night, she was there with a listening ear and an open heart for anyone in need. Her presence was warmth. Her laughter was contagious. And her storytelling could light up an entire room.

Mawusi had many dreams and aspirations of her own, but time and time again, she set them aside to pour her energy and love into her children. She showed up for everyone—without question, without hesitation. She was an amazing mother, a fiercely loyal partner, a nurturing sister, a friend to all, and a second mom to many.
