January in the fresh start of the new year it was discovered that 1 year old Maverick has brain cancer. He under went not 1, but 2 procedures to remove as much tumor as possible. 3 Chemo rounds later, the MRI seen more tumor growth. Yesterday, he was under for his 3rd extensive brain surgery. Mom has used all FMLA, Vacation, and any time at work to be with her son during that time! Unfortunately she has been called to return to work as she is the only one providing for her and her 4 kids. As you can imagine, being with Maverick is the NEED for now. During yesterday’s procedure a vein was injured and because of that he has had 2 brain strokes. Her son’s tiny little body is now needing to pull through all of this on its own. To help relieve some of this stress of not working and possibly even losing her job, she needs US to come together to help pay for her bills! As I said above, she is an only 1 income family!
