This is Maverick. Maverick is a 7 year old rescue Husky. He was diagnosed this week with a spindle cell tumor on his left front leg. His vet says his prognosis is good if we have it removed, and he has an appointment on Tuesday morning with a surgeon to do further evaluation and schedule surgery. This is a type of cancer they say is unlikely to spread and is not on the bone, so it’s a good candidate for removal provided we do it quickly.

We are currently in the process of buying a house and moving, and are already stretched, but are unwilling to let Maverick’s condition go untreated. If you are in a position to help or share we would all appreciate it.
