From State Champs to the World Stage: Help Maverick Robotics Defend the Title!

We are FIRST Robotics Competition Team 4272, Maverick Robotics, from McCutcheon High School in Lafayette, IN. We have some incredible news: We just won the 2026 FIRST Indiana State Championship!

After an intense season of competition, we are officially ranked #2 in the state of Indiana. This victory has secured our spot at the FIRST World Championship in Houston, TX. As the 2025 World Champions, we are beyond excited to return to the global stage to represent our community and defend our title during this archaeology-themed season: REBUILT.

Why We Need Your Support

Success at this level comes with significant logistical and financial challenges. Qualifying for the World Championship in consecutive years is a massive honor, but the costs for registration, equipment transport, and travel for our students and mentors are substantial.

Our goal is to ensure that every student on the team can participate in this once-in-a-lifetime experience regardless of their financial situation. 100% of the funds raised go directly toward reducing travel and competition costs for the team.

About the 2026 Season: REBUILT

This year’s game, REBUILT, challenges us to "unearth" solutions to complex engineering problems. Our students have spent the last several months designing, prototyping, and refining a robot capable of competing with the best in the world. This program is about more than just robots; it’s about developing the next generation of leaders in STEM, strategy, and teamwork.
