Help Maverick and Family

Sharing this for Connor and Savanna.

Baby Maverick was born on 11-7-24 @ 6:41pm. He weighed 6 pounds 3 ounces and measured 21 inches. He is so tiny:) Upon birth, the awesome staff noted a heart murmur. Last evening (11-8-24) he was having some trouble with eating and breathing at the same time. After having an echocardiogram, it was highly recommended that he be transferred to Masonic Children's Hospital due to detecting a valve issue with his heart. He was diagnosed with Pulmonary Valve Stenosis which is a congenital heart defect - in essence, it is where the valve doesn't open properly, preventing blood from flowing freely from the heart to the lungs. He will be having tests done - probably starting Monday. We are anticipating that there will be some surgery involved in the near future. He is doing well and is in very good hands. Savanna was then also discharged from the hospital and is also trying to heal.

Both Connor and Savanna are doing well and holding strong. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers and we will keep you posted!
