Help Maurice Stewart Replace His Stolen Car

My name is Jean. While I have contributed to several Go Fund Me's, I have never started one, so bear with me. I am in my mid 60's and have worked part-time at an educational service center for the past four years. Since we are a fairly big organization, we have custodians on staff to help clean and set up rooms for meetings, etc.

Maurice Stewart is a custodian on our staff. He is close to my age and is one of the hardest workers I know. He knows every person in our building by name and makes it a point to say good morning to all. He is a widower and has had a hard life, but you'd never know it. He is on top of everything! He is a dog lover, a plant grower, and one of the best people I know.

Two years ago, Maurice was able to finally buy a used car to drive instead of having to take the bus back and forth to work. It was hard financially, but he worked hard, saved, and managed to make the payments, the insurance, and the upkeep.

Two months ago, when the weather was so very hot, Maurice left his windows halfway down while at work and his car was stolen in broad daylight! The building's cameras caught only part of the incident but not enough to identify the thief. The police were called and a report filed but then nothing. Not a word. The car is gone but Maurice still has the loan payments and now he also has bus fare once again since his vehicle is gone.
