On Thursday, March 24th, Maurice, Joy, and their seven-year-old daughter Ka'Myah faced an unimaginable tragedy. A devastating apartment fire has left them without a home, displacing their family and taking away the place where their lives and memories were built. While we're grateful they are safe, they now face the overwhelming challenge of starting over.

Maurice and Joy are hardworking parents who have always done their best to provide for their family. However, due to the high cost of living, they were unable to afford renters insurance, leaving them especially vulnerable in the wake of this disaster.
