Maureen has been on a long and difficult journey since breaking her foot in 2014. Over the past 6 years she and her family have had to adapt to a completely new way of living due to her injury and the ensuing complications, specifically those associated with her diagnosis of CRPS and the atrophy resulting from the extensive, irreversible  damage. After years of attempting to manage her diagnosis and debilitating pain, she and her doctors came to the difficult decision that a below the knee amputation was her only option.  While we all have complete confidence in Maureen’s ability and strength to recover and triumph, there are a number of expenses she and her family will experience throughout her recovery. One of these items will be her copay on an extremely expensive prosthetic limb which will be vital in ensuring she is able to live a complete and full life.
