Our sister, Maureen Canavan, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the end of July. She started chemo in early September, and the bills are already mounting, while she still faces more chemo, radiation, and surgery. Although her employer has allowed her to work from home while going through treatments, the side effects make it difficult to work full time, and get through normal daily activities.
