My mom, Leora Delgoffe, who is 94, sister, Maureen Delgoffe, niece, Holly Niewierowski, and their families lost everything in an early morning fire on Thursday, Oct. 30. The mobile home is a complete loss. They were able to get out with just the clothes they were wearing and their dogs. Several of their beloved pets were lost. They are currently staying with my husband and me.

They are actively looking for a used mobile home at this time and had hoped to be able to find someplace before Christmas. This has been so traumatic to the children. Fortunately, my mother seems to be settled a bit now.

They do fortunately have insurance, but that isn't going to go far. In the meantime, they will have many expenses., including groceries. And trying to put together some kind of Christmas. They have already had much community support with donations of clothing, gift cards, baskets and prayers. The ongoing support of friends, family and the community would be a true blessing.
