I had a large ovarian mass that was removed 8/7/19 and was diagnosed with stage IC3 mucinous ovarian cancer following surgery. The doctors would like to schedule me for chemotherapy to begin as soon as I recover from surgery, in about 6 weeks. My husband works and I primarily take care of our two boys. I am not currently working and we cannot afford the high cost of treatment. You might know me from volunteering at Edwards Elementary School, or seeing me around the community. We have lived in the Vail Valley since 1999. We are applying for some financial help, but nothing has been approved yet.  Thank you so much for your consideration. Update 9/24/19: Maura is undergoing further scans and testing this week and will begin chemotherapy next week at the Shaw Center in Edwards. She is thankful to be able to have treatment up here near her family and for all the contributions that have made this possible for her.

Maura's campaign will be managed and administered by the Baugh family, longtime friends of Maura and family. Monies will be disbursed on an as-needed basis for the above-referenced expenses. All funds raised here will go directly to Maura.
