The skies cracked open.

The waters came down like a hammer from hell.

Hard work a dreams drowned. Roads vanished. Silence followed.

Our brother Max took the hit.

His truck — his war machine, his lifeline, his daily grind chariot — was swallowed whole in the Maui floods. No warning. No mercy. Just gone. Washed into the abyss like a sacrifice to the storm.

But hear this:

MAX. DOESN’T. STAY. DOWN.

This is where we come in — the crew, the family, the poisoned in the pit. We’re throwing down to bring him back from the wreckage. Every dollar is fuel. Every share is volume. Every bit of support is another metal pumping riff in the anthem of rebuilding.

We’re raising funds to get Max back on the road/tour

To replace what the flood tried to erase

To prove that when one of us falls, ALL of us rise

If you’ve ever cranked it loud with PILAU at Volcanic Strike, shared a laugh, or just believe in standing strong when everything collapses — now’s the time.

Max and PILAU have worked so hard the past three years, putting on the best metal fest Hawaii’s ever seen! Bringing bands from all over the world here to play for us. These guys have been known to invite the less fortunate that hang around the skate park and sleep under the bridge free tickets to the show for all three nights. Including open bar so they can rock out and have a good time with us. That’s heart! They give so much.

PILAU was to team up this summer their Thrash Metal buds Velocity from the pits of SmelLA. Kick off their Japan 2026 tour here in Oahu.

The floods took that from them and the rest of us too.
