Operation Help Maui: 100 Tiny Homes Initiative
Our mission to deliver 100 tiny homes to Maui is fueled by ordinary people coming together to achieve something extraordinary. We've made incredible strides:
The Aloha Initiative: We've established The Aloha Initiative, a 501(c)(3) organization (Tax ID 936635371), to tackle short-term housing needs while laying the groundwork for long-term assistance.
Red Cross Collaboration: We're working closely with the Red Cross to pinpoint areas of highest need.
Matson's Support: We've approached international shipping conglomerate Matson to assist with shipping the tiny homes.
Professional Network Engagement: Our close-knit professional networks, often just a degree away, have been monumental in our progress.
Partnerships: We’ve teamed up with PanelTekADU, liaised directly with grassroots relief efforts, and are in touch with community members who confirm the need is dire and immediate.
The Boardwalk’s Commitment: Special thanks to Sara Green and Derek Clark, co-owners of The Boardwalk and organizers of the relief efforts, for quickly standing up The Aloha Initiative. From August 8th to September 10th, The Boardwalk will donate 100% of net proceeds from all ticket sales to our cause.
The Boardwalk's Operation Help Maui Event: Join us on September 10th, 1pm - 6pm. Expect six bands, silent and live auctions, and donation stations. Our outdoor setup includes a DJ, food trucks, two signature cocktails, and beer. Every cent earned goes directly to support the Maui fire victims.
Tickets: General admission is $25, with indoor seats ranging from $35-$45. Contribute using our QR code, spread the word, share our mission. Your commitment can shape lives.
