Hey guys I've started this page after a few of my supporters have suggested setting one up so here we are.

I’m Matty “Mattybombs” Nicholls, Australia’s #1 ranked long driver, and I’m heading overseas for the final part of my 2026 season including the Latin American Championship in Mexico and the World Long Drive Championships in Reno.

I’m raising funds to help with the significant travel and competition costs involved in representing Australia on the world stage.

For those who have followed my journey, you’ll know just how much work, travel, sacrifice and probably a little bit of insanity has gone into chasing this long drive dream.

What started as simply trying to hit a golf ball as far as humanly possible has turned into the opportunity to travel the world and compete against some of the best hitters on the planet.

And now we’re heading towards the biggest stage of them all.

The 2026 World Long Drive Championships.

This season has already been one I’ll never forget.

Most recently I travelled to Spain for the European Championships, where I made it all the way through to the final and finished 2nd, losing the deciding round by just ONE YARD.

That result has only made me hungrier.

In October, I’ll head to Mexico for the Latin American Championship, before travelling on to Reno, Nevada for the World Long Drive Championships, where I’ll once again have the privilege of representing Australia.

The opportunity is incredible but the reality is that competing internationally comes with some massive costs.

Flights, accommodation, rental cars, tournament entries, baggage, equipment, training, recovery and everything else involved in getting halfway around the world and onto that tee box adds up extremely quickly.

I’m incredibly fortunate to have some amazing sponsors, businesses, friends, family and supporters already behind me, and I genuinely wouldn’t be able to do this without them.

But a significant amount of the cost of this journey still comes directly out of my own pocket.

So I’ve decided to start this GoFundMe for anyone who would like to become a small part of the journey.

Whether it’s $10, $20, $50 or simply sharing the page, every little bit helps.

This isn’t just about getting overseas.

It’s about giving myself every opportunity to arrive prepared, compete at my best and see just how far an Aussie bloke who became obsessed with hitting bombs can take this thing.

I’m incredibly proud to represent Australia.

I’m proud of how far we’ve already come.

And when I step onto that tee box at Worlds, I’ll be giving absolutely everything I have.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, sponsored me, donated prizes, shared my content, sent messages, followed the journey or simply believed in what I’m doing.

Let’s take Mattybombs to Worlds.
