My mom is 78 years old and has always done her best to stay independent, but lately, life has become much more difficult for her. She lives on a fixed SSI income that simply doesn't cover her monthly bills. Her mortgage and HOA fees take up most of her income, and after covering her basic needs, she can't make ends meet. She received a small savings payout during COVID, but that is almost gone now.

On top of her financial struggles, my mom faces serious health challenges. She has rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, and tinnitus, which together make her a high fall risk. She has already suffered two falls—one left her unable to lift her right arm very high after surgery, and the other cracked the top of her tibia, leaving her reliant on a cane. With these health issues, working is no longer an option for her.

I am doing everything I can to help, but I can't do it alone. If my mom doesn't receive help soon, she may be forced to sell her townhome, which would be devastating for her. Your support would help cover her bills and rebuild her small savings, giving her a chance to stay in her home and regain some peace of mind.
