Dear friends, family, & kind strangers,

We are reaching out during an incredibly difficult time for our family. For the past 14+ years, my brother Matt has been bravely battling a brain tumor. He has undergone countless treatments, including several awake craniotomies, radiation, & chemotherapy. Some treatments gave us hope & precious time, while others fell short. We always held on to hope that things would improve, but we are now facing a new reality.

Currently, Matt is receiving at-home hospice care. He was doing fine—until he wasn’t. His condition has rapidly declined, & he now requires round-the-clock care to stay comfortable. We have a wheelchair to help him move around the house, but his strength is fading each day. My parents are doing all they can, but it’s becoming harder for us to lift & assist him as his condition worsens.

This has been an incredibly exhausting & emotional journey for all of us. While we are doing our best to stay positive, the physical, emotional, & financial toll has been overwhelming. Matt’s care needs are constantly changing, and we are trying to provide him with the best care possible, but we need help.

We are humbly asking for support to help us cover the costs of Matt’s care, including medical supplies, equipment, & any additional assistance needed to keep him comfortable. Additionally, we are preparing for the inevitable, & the funds raised will also go toward covering eventual funeral expenses.
