On August 1st, 2025, our beloved Matt passed away unexpectedly. Gone very early in life and his loss has left an unimaginable hole in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Matt had the kindest, most loving heart. He made everyone feel seen, cared for, and safe. Whether you knew him for years or met him once, you felt his warmth. He was a son, a brother, a friend, and someone who loved deeply and unconditionally.

His mum, Dawn, and his sister, Tehya, are now facing the painful reality of having to plan a funeral for their beautiful boy — something no mother or sister should ever have to do. Unfortunately, they are having to cover all the funeral and memorial costs out of pocket.

This fundraiser is to support Dawn with those unexpected expenses — so she can grieve without the added stress of financial pressure. All donations will go directly to her to help cover funeral arrangements, time off work, and the many costs that come with such a tragic and sudden loss.
