Meet my brother, Matthew Robinett - on August 19, 2024, he was walking back to his house and was hit and dragged by a car. We are so lucky that a good Samaritan found him and was able to call 911! He suffered extensive injuries, including a concussion, broken ribs, broken pelvis, and broken jaw and face. The good news? He has had multiple surgeries to fix all of his injuries and is receiving wonderful care from the staff at OHSU Hospital in Portland. These are the first steps to his long road of recovery.

I have started this page because I hear people ask, "How can we help?" We are so grateful to everyone that is following Matt's story and recovery! The outpouring of support is giving him the strength that he needs.

Matt has immediate family that live in Idaho (brother and mom) and Ohio (sister). This accident was such a surprise and shock to our family, especially after recently hosting our dad's celebration of life at the beginning of August.

This fundraiser is to help our family travel to Portland, Oregon to be with our brother during this time! These funds would go directly to travel expenses incurred by Matt's immediate family - Arlene (mom), Mike (brother), and Crystal (sister).
