Help Mattie After Wildfire Loss

Dear Friends and Family,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart during this incredibly difficult time.

As many of you know, my grandmother, Mattie, has tragically lost her home in the recent wildfire that swept through the Altadena area. While we are deeply grateful that she is safe, her home and all of her belongings were completely destroyed.

This loss is particularly heartbreaking because the house was built by my late grandfather in 1980 with a mission to support at-risk youth in Los Angeles. When local public schools turned those students away, my grandparents even established a school to ensure they had access to education and a brighter future.

In this moment of immense need, we are asking for your support to help my grandmother begin the process of rebuilding her life and preserving her legacy. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. toward providing essentials like clothing, toiletries, and basic household items, as well as assisting her with her personal recovery efforts.
