Mattia's Road to Recovery

On June 28th, 2021 a tragic incident almost took the life of Mattia Martucci. 23 year old son, older brother and loving friend to all who had the pleasure of meeting him. Mattia is the heart of his community, the type of person that can put a smile on your face by simply just seeing him. Our cousin is the strongest kid we know. Growing up against all odds, he has shown to overcome adversity time and time again.

Now, he is faced with his biggest challenge yet. A tragic incident left him in grave conditions, withstanding the excruciating pain of his injury for nearly 2 hours while waiting for emergency response. After being evacuated via helicopter to the hospital, by the grace of god, his life was saved. Resulting in the loss of his arm, we as a family are extremely devastated by the news. Upon waking up from surgery he recalls every last moment of his injury that he lived through. He needs all the love and support he can get at this time. His parents are with him every moment possible, taking a leave of absence from work making it tough to provide. We are humbly asking for anything to help Mattia receive the best possible care.
