These 8 songs have to do with a lot of different things but I think some threads run through them: rural life, what it means to be from somewhere, blood and being a member of a family, death, the sacred, wanting things you don't have, and the natural world. Now I have the immense privilege of bringing this music to listeners and to collaborators; to bring this record to fruition, I'm going to be working with Claire Holley in Los Angeles, California. I need some help to pay for recording and producing the album and for creating physical CDs.
