Help Matthias Heal: A Family's Plea for Support

My name is not important, but the story of my son is. He's a beautiful, smart young boy born July 9th, 2022, in my lap while I held his mother up in my arms from an exhausting 12-hour labor. He came into this world with love and purpose. Bearing the name Matthias Vincent DuBois, meaning Gift of God, conqueror of the woods! He has been in the 99th percentile since he was born. As you can imagine, mom and dad have been very proud of our little Hausstradamus. But an unfortunate accident almost stripped this world of his presence. After an accidental injury to the head in the backyard, my wife responded immediately, giving him basic life support until the paramedics got there. She single-handedly gave her son another chance at what we all believe is precious in this world, life itself. He was stabilized in Bentonville and flown to Little Rock Children's Hospital. My wife flew with him and stays with him now along with our 6-month-old baby boy Edmond, who she is breastfeeding. After a gruesome fight for life from a little 2-year-old boy, he came through to a slow recovery. At this point, we are waiting on the MRI to be done to confirm the health of little homie's brain. But that's just one side of it. In all this, my wife has stayed right next to his side and will continue to as he makes his recovery. Meaning she will not be back at work for at least a week or two, I'm not really sure. We do have insurance, which we hope will cover most, but I'm not sure about the airplane ride. Without both of us working, our mortgage alone will put us under. That's why I've swallowed my pride and took the advice to get on here and ask for the help of others. My wife will no doubt need therapy after this, which adds another expense to this nightmare. I know things are tough all over right now, but if you have a dime or a prayer to spare, I can assure you it will not go wasted on our little angel.
