Hi Everyone!

My name is Whitney, and I'm here to tell you about my big brother, Matthew. Some of you may know him as Bleu, some of you may know him through the sisters or choir or any of the other million things he's given his heart to over the years, some of you may not know him at all; that's where I come in.

If there's anyone in the world that I have no problem asking for help for, it's my brothers. My brother has worked his entire life, but thanks to a sudden heart attack a few months ago, he has been let go from his job due to their inability to accommodate his health needs. I have watched him go through the unimaginable stress that many can relate to when you're left with no choice but to use what savings you may have left, go through the slow and painstaking process of trying to get disability approved, trying to find the right doctors and specialists to try to treat the cause and not just the symptoms. It has been one thing after another, and finally, he asked for help. He is unable to work for at least a handful of months due to necessary medications and how they affect his body.

We know that money is tight for everyone right now, and if you cannot give, we ask that you just share wherever you can. More visibility helps.

The funds raised will go strictly to medical expenses and his rent while he is in the waiting process for disability. Anyone familiar with that process knows how daunting and vulnerable that feels. I am helping in one of the only ways I know how, and if all you can give is a dollar, I promise every single one counts. I'm sorry for the novel. I'll post updates as often as possible.
