Cancer is suddenly spreading through both lungs, and in my lymphatic system. I’m trying not to panic, but I do need to act speedily to turn things around.

My plan has 3 parts:
1. Raise enough funds to have immunotherapy ASAP.
2. Get started on the next chemotherapy (sadly quite toxic and not very effective…)
3. Either get into a clinical trial, or find a hospital that can treat me with a novel drug or drug-combo.

I must be quick, so I’m carrying out all 3 parts of my plan at the same time. It’s a lot of work, but at least I’m physically well enough at the moment to carry out my plan.

I’ll try my very best to keep you updated regularly.

Please donate and/or share my fundraising link if you can, it really makes a world of difference!

Thank you so much,
Matthew

This month I’m raising money for two purposes:
1. I currently have two projects to help cancer patients.

Firstly, I’m making a free online course for cancer patients and carers. The course helps patients and carers make difficult decisions about treatment. It also helps them protect themselves from the scammers and quacks who relentlessly target people affected by cancer. I’m publishing it in September.

The second project helps cancer patients come to Japan for cutting-edge treatments. I’m running an online group for patients, and collecting practical information to help them get to Japan. I’ve been publishing the information on my website and I’m editing it into a free ebook too.

2. I need another round of adoptive-cell immunotherapy. My monthly blood test has shown a tumour maker (CEA) has been rising for the past 3 months. It’s still in the safe range, but it’s getting very worrying. I’m now in my 3rd year of “No evidence of disease” (NED). If I can prevent the cancer recurring now the chance of it ever coming back starts to drop dramatically. The immunotherapy treatment will be made with my own white blood cells so there’s almost no chance of a dangerous reaction.

Please share the fundraising link on social media, and add a few words about why you’re sharing it. I’m hoping to schedule the immunotherapy for late September.

Thank you so much for your help,
Matthew
ps. Please share this fundraiser on Facebook and other social media, it makes a huge difference.

With your help, my cancer could be cured, and I can continue helping cancer patients worldwide as a volunteer.

I was diagnosed with stage 4, terminal bowel cancer in 2016. Thanks to your donations, I’m now in complete remission (no evidence of disease).

I’m raising funds to pay for cancer immunotherapy in Japan. The immunotherapy is very expensive because it’s made with my own white blood cells.

I’m also raising funds to support my work as an unpaid volunteer, helping cancer patients worldwide. Cancer patients and their families are hearing about my story and have contacted me asking for help and advice.

I don’t give medical advice, but I’ve been giving people practical help with getting to Japan. I’ve set up an online support group for cancer patients who want Japanese immunotherapy.

And I’m setting up a non-profit organisation called Make Cancer History to help cure cancer for everyone, everywhere, because even the poorest of countries should have access to effective cancer treatments.

Please share this fundraiser on Facebook and other social media, and donate if you can so I can help other cancer patients.

Cancer Fund for Matt -AKA Karamoon

Matthew (AKA Karamoon) has terminal Stage 4 Cancer. The prognosis is the worst it could be - he may only have a few more months to live.

As you can imagine, our world is falling apart. We're scared of losing Matthew and devastated at the thought of his young children; Edward (10) and Jessica (5), growing up without him.

We've been given hope that "immunotherapy" can make him live longer. The initial cost is £15,000 but £95,000 in total.

We're desperately trying to raise funds so he may immediately start the treatment. We'll be immeasurably grateful if you can donate to help Matthew live longer.

Thank you from all those who know and love Matthew.
