My name is Catherine (Williams), and my husband is John Gregory. For anyone that doesn’t know, Matthew is my nephew. His parents were my sister, Linda (Williams), and Timothy O’Connell. His sister is Deborah (O’Connell) and her husband is Jeff Earl. His brother is Eric O’Connell and his wife is Amanda (Mellor). Along with his Aunt Sally (O’Connell) and Larry Pezanko, we are all rallying to help Matthew navigate his surgery and treatment. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated by the entire family. Deborah (O’Connell) Earl:

Matt has been diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic cancer. He will have a long road of surgery, treatment, and then recovery. Those of you who have the pleasure of knowing Matt know that he’s truly a salt-of-the-earth guy. There’s a good chance he’s helped you move, has fixed your car, given you a ride, or has provided a place to stay when you needed one. He can never say no to someone in need. Here is a chance to give him a hand back. We’re asking if any friends can help ease the load of mounting bills and stress that come along with battling this unforgiving disease. He never asks for anything and could really use some support going through this unimaginable battle. Any amount would help!

Any funds collected will be used to help cover transportation to and from appointments, medical bills, and to help cover living expenses to ensure that his home is secure while he’s out of work for treatment.
