Help Matthew Secure Temporary Housing

After losing my IT Support job of three years due to workforce reduction, I found myself unable to keep up with rent. Despite my efforts to negotiate a payment plan or use rental assistance, my landlord refused all options, including city-provided assistance. This led to my eviction last Friday. With the help of family, I managed to secure a temporary stay at a hotel while I arranged for a room at an Extended Stay Hotel. Unfortunately, I fell short of the funds needed to complete the reservation.

Staying at the Extended Stay hotel is crucial for me as it provides a stable place to live and work while I navigate these challenging circumstances. I am currently employed full-time in IT Support and actively searching for a new apartment through various real estate platforms and with the help of a realtor. This temporary housing will give me the time and space I need to secure permanent housing.

The current housing and economic crises have put many, including myself, in unexpected situations. I never imagined facing such struggles, having always worked hard to avoid hard times.
