Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for my son Matthew Marucci Jr to try and help him repurchase items that were stolen from his truck. Matthew is 22 and is very dedicated to his family, his future and church. He is a graduate of Oglethorpe County High School and he is currently a student at UNG,for a business marketing degree. Matthew has always been an exceptional kid and is growing into a great young man. He graduated with honors and lettered in two sports. He has always kept a job. He is currently a nutrition consultant at Supreme Nutrition in Athens. He loves to work out at the gym. Between school, work, gym and church, he loves photography and videography. He has always bought his own equipment. He uses it for school and he does the video for his church media department with his own gear.
However last week, his truck was broken into and the thieves took his Pelican case and other cases with over $18000 worth of cameras, drones, computer, etc. It is very unlikely that the items will be recovered. All of these items were bought and paid for by himself slowly over time. He is a very dedicated and motivated young man. Everything he has ever captured from family gatherings, friends, companies, and his priority church events and memories was in that equipment. He won’t be able to get those back, but he is hoping to make a new start of being able to reach people through a lens. He tries to share his beliefs and help people online since there is a whole world to reach on the internet. Anything at all helps him get back to what he felt led to do, and we appreciate you greatly!
