Help Matthew Pursue Forensic Chemistry at Towson University
Donation protected
I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to seek your support for my son, Matthew, who is pursuing higher education. Matthew is a driven 18-year-old African-American and a proud graduate of Oxon Hill High School's Science Technology Program. Boasting a 4.2 GPA, he has earned a spot at Towson University, where he plans to major in Forensic Chemistry and has already envisioned his career after college. Matthew has been working hard to achieve his academic goals, but unfortunately, we’ve hit a financial roadblock.
Unfortunately, I am unable to afford his tuition fees. Although Matthew has obtained a partial scholarship, we are still faced with a shortfall of $17,500 for his first year, which is due by August 26. We believe in Matthew’s potential and are committed to ensuring he receives the education he deserves.
Breakdown of Costs:
Remaining Tuition fees: $17,500
Classroom supplies (books, materials): $700
Total Goal: $18,200
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in Matthew’s journey. Your support will directly impact his education and future prospects. Let’s come together as a community and invest in Matthew’s success.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness. We appreciate your help in making Matthew’s dreams a reality. African-American males are underrepresented in higher education, yet I am confident that Matthew is an extraordinary student who merits support.
