Hi my name is Jenelle Ordaz and Matthew Ciaccia the parents of Matthew jr. Ciaccia ...those of you know my son Matthew jr. Ciaccia fought stage 4 sarcoma in June 2023 for a whole year at just 15 months old ...He had 10 months of strong chemotherapy, his mass removal surgery , 41 days of radation under anesthesia..He fought so hard and everyday and won that battle in March 2024!!! he rang the bell !!!We got to 2 years in remission !! No signs of the sarcoma cancer coming back but then something came up in his blood work and they did further testing we kept testing and his levels were just getting higher each time so they had him do a bone marrow biopsy and some abnormal cells came up which wasn't good & his levels /blood work just keeps getting higher which is not a good sign. After more testing Matthew is now diagnosed with a secondary cancer this time a blood cancer called Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). This diagnoses we are informed by his oncologist that he now needs a Bone Marrow transplant . This bone marrow transplant is high risk it's the last thing we can do to save his life ... He has to go under chemotherapy and the bone marrow transplant which has many complications that can happen it's high risk ...he has to stay in the hospital for 6-8 weeks inpatient after the transplant...followed by 100 days post op to stay near the hospital... We do not know what to expect from this transplant ...As this unexpected news has hit me and my family we are asking for any help with financial support as we have to take time off of work to be with him to help him get through this difficult time. We are asking for financial support to help us with this time as we have a long road ahead of us... he's expected to get this bone marrow transplant in mid March because the earlier he gets this the better chance he has at beating this secondary blood cancer ... please pray for my son and my family at this time .Any donation or share is appreciated truly. Thank you all Please keep Matthew Jr. Ciaccia and my family in your prayers!!Our hearts are shattered with this devastating news as our son Matthew has already endured so much pain at such a young age and to go through it again at the age of only 4 years old just breaks our hearts ....
