Support for Matthew’s Recovery Journey

On July 12th, Katie and Mitch’s son, Matthew, experienced a traumatic injury that resulted in a five-day stay at CCMC and multiple surgeries. As of today, he has already undergone four procedures and is scheduled for a fifth on August 8th, with additional surgeries expected over the next year.

This medical emergency has placed a significant emotional and financial strain on the family. Matthew’s dad has been out of work since the injury occurred, and his mom is preparing to take leave from her job to care for him full-time. With a long road to recovery ahead, the family is facing mounting challenges.
