Matthew was born with a rare genetic heart disorder. The past week, he had to undergo major open-heart surgery. When the doctor opened him up, he realized his condition was much worse than he thought it was, making not only his surgery longer but his recovery as well. Luckily, Matthew is a very active young man, so this will help in his healing. He was told he cannot go back to work for 4 months because his job is very physical, carrying heavy equipment up and down ladders. The money he'll be getting monthly on disability does not begin to cover their monthly bills.

So, I'm asking all my family and friends: If there's anything at all that you can contribute to help them get through the next four months so he can concentrate on healing and getting back on his feet, I would greatly appreciate it.

Anything anyone can do to help my granddaughter and her fiancé out would be greatly appreciated.
