Meet Matthew. Matthew is 25 years old and an amazing human who recently learned that he has a rare, cancerous brain tumor.

After several years of mysterious health conditions, multiple doctors, and a multitude of painful and tasking tests, Matthew was accepted at the Mayo Clinic located in Rochester, MN. Through a collaboration of talented MO physicians and outstanding specialists at the Mayo Clinic, Matthew has been diagnosed with a rare type of cancerous tumor growing on his pituitary gland, which is causing a variety of hormone-related problems and is quickly eliminating Matthew's vision.

Treatment will include 4 months of chemotherapy followed by 5-6 weeks of radiation to be completed at the Mayo Clinic in MN.

The outlook for this type of treatment is promising. However, being away from home for 5 to 6 months will keep Matthew from being able to work, thus threatening his ability to maintain typical financial responsibilities at home.
