Help Matthew & Davya Record Their 1st Duet Album!

Hi Everyone!

 

Singer-Songwriters Matthew Hammond (Austin, TX) and Davya Flaharty (Fairbanks, AK) are getting ready to record their first ever collaboration of healing hymns and devotional songs.

 

This album of 12 songs (6 of them are original compositions and the other 6 are gorgeously arranged covers) is called Love Only Grows.

 

Davya met Matthew through one of his online songwriting workshops where they quickly formed a soulful symbiosis of their individual styles. This magic was further reinforced when they met up in person with their families for the first time at CedarS Camp on the outskirts of the Ozarks in Missouri.

 

After collaborating remotely via Zoom for 9 months, Matthew and Davya finally had a chance to perform their duets live in person for an audience. The beautiful blend of their voices and the healing message of their music inspired many to ask, "When are you two going to put out an album?"  Those enthusiastic responses became the impetus for this current project.

 

Matthew and Davya would be honored for YOU to join this effort to help share their music with a world that is, perhaps more than ever, in need of comfort and healing.

 

Your generous contributions will help to fund a week-long recording session at Freedlight Sonics in St. Louis next month.  Recording begins on March 9th. The owner of Freedlight, the multi-talented Peter Stevens, will be the recording engineer and will also mix and master the album.  Contributions will also be used for:

 

 

In the meantime, please enjoy one of the songs, God Is Here with Me  (on the video above) that will appear on the album.  It was just recently recorded as a "proof of concept" for the full-length album.
