Matthew Bennett fought a long and courageous battle with brain cancer, passing away on December 11, 2025. Matt was a loving single father whose personality lit up every room he entered. He found peace and restoration in the outdoors, whether adventuring on the sea or exploring the woods. Above all, Matt cherished his role as Conrad’s dad, and his love for life was matched only by his devotion to his son.

With Matt’s passing, his 11-year-old son Conrad faces a future without his father’s guidance and support. Our family is raising funds to help secure Conrad’s future, with donations going into an investment account for his ongoing needs and well-being. In addition, we are seeking support to cover funeral expenses and the costs of wrapping up Matt’s affairs, ensuring that family can focus on healing.

Matt wanted nothing more than to help Conrad grow and secure his future. Our family would be forever grateful for help from the community to bring Matt’s fatherly duty to fruition.
