Help Matthew, Alyssa & Babies After Devastating House Fire
Donation protected
On May 6th, my dear friend Matthew, his wife Alyssa, their one year old son and their newborn son experienced an unimaginable tragedy—a devastating house fire that destroyed their home and everything they owned. Thankfully, they are safe, but they have lost all of their belongings, including baby supplies, clothing, furniture, and essentials needed for daily life.
Matthew and Alyssa are loving, hard-working, and generous people. Alyssa is a passionate nurse, committed to caring for others in their most vulnerable moments. Matthew has been an active duty member of the U.S. Air Force for the past 16 years, a dedicated servicemember who has completed six overseas deployments in service to our country. He has spent years putting others before himself, and now he and his young family need our help.
I had the honor of serving side by side with Huston during my first deployment. He taught me more about our job than I could have ever imagined and supported me through experiences and situations I never pictured I’d be in. Out there he was my mentor, my teammate, but most of all, he was my best friend.
Now, in the face of this heartbreaking loss, he and his family need help more than ever.
We are raising funds to help them replace essential baby items (diapers, clothes, formula, etc.) and cover basic living expenses while they recover from this loss.
Every dollar helps—your kindness and generosity will make a difference. If you’re not able to donate right now, please consider sharing this campaign to help spread the word.
Let’s show this beautiful young family that they are not alone. Together, we can help them begin to heal.
With gratitude,
