Our Story 

Hi, we’re Adrienne & Matthew. 

Last month, while on what was meant to be a simple vacation in North Carolina, our lives changed forever. Matthew suffered a sudden and life-threatening medical emergency that left him in an induced coma for more than two weeks. We are deeply grateful that he is now awake and working hard in physical therapy, but his recovery journey is only just beginning.

Matthew is relearning how to walk and working every day to regain independence. Sadly, his condition has left him with a permanent health issue that will require ongoing doctor visits, medication, and therapy for the rest of his life. Because this happened so far from home, we’ve been stuck in North Carolina for nearly two months.

On top of the emotional and physical toll, we’re struggling financially, paying rent both in North Carolina and back in Florida, while facing mounting medical bills and recovery costs.
