My name is Marni Gonzalez, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, Melanie Sciarra, and her beloved dog, Matteo.

Recently, Matteo was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a very aggressive and painful form of bone cancer. The diagnosis has been heartbreaking for Melanie, but she’s determined to fight for Matteo and give him the best possible care.

After consulting with veterinary specialists, the best course of action is radiation therapy, which can greatly reduce Matteo’s pain and help slow the progression of the disease. This treatment gives him the best chance at a longer, happier life—but it comes at a high cost.

The total cost for radiation treatment, along with follow-up care, medications, and diagnostics, is estimated to be $15,000. Unfortunately, this is a financial burden that Melanie cannot take on alone.
