Matt-a-Magical is developing a new show for the fall of 2026 called Ghost Stories of Grimbleton Manor. This original puppet production will be filled with short stories, poems, songs, and other vignettes all centered around the peculiar visitors and eccentric tenants of an old manor. The ghost of the former groundskeeper is all that remains to share these tales, shedding light on the dark secrets that have transpired over the years.

This show will involve many different styles of puppetry, with lots of inventive and unique approaches. Experimenting and figuring out these creative styles with other artists/designers/and collaborators to create something exciting and original takes time and resources. With your help, we can create a Frankenstein-esque production, pieced together from all the Gothic characters you love. Take the regal spookiness of the Haunted Mansion, mix it with the creepy kookiness of The Addams Family, then blend it with the whimsically macabre art of Edward Gorey, toss it with some Tim Burton flare, and chop it up with a slice of darkness from Edgar Allan Poe...and you've got yourself Ghost Stories of Grimbleton Manor. Coming in the fall of 2026.
